We specialise in environmental and social risk management in development projects and investments in emerging markets. ​

Our approach builds on an in-depth understanding and experience of applying environmental and social safeguard frameworks of multilateral development banks, including the World Bank (WB), the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the African Development Bank (AfDB), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Inter-american Development Bank (IADB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Our greatest asset however, is our extensive field experience. For over 13 years, we have worked on E&S safeguards at the project, jurisdiction and national levels in Asia, Africa, and Central and South America, supporting national and sub-national governments as well project developers, donors, international NGOs and the private sector.
Our Services.
Project Level E&S Risk Management
​We support projects at design and implementation stages to identify, assess, and manage environmental and social risks in line with international standards. This includes risk screening, mitigation planning (ESMFs, ESMPs and topic-specific plans), stakeholder engagement, and grievance redress mechanisms.
Training and Capacity Building
​We deliver tailored training and hands-on capacity building for institutions, project teams, and partners on environmental and social risk management, safeguards compliance, and implementation tools.
Design of E&S Management Systems
​We design Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) for funds and institutions providing grants, loans, or policy support. Our work covers risk management processes aligned with funding cycles, applicable standards and tools, proposal assessment procedures, monitoring frameworks, and clear institutional roles and responsibilities.

Project Review and Evaluations
We carry out mid-term and final evaluations, with a strong focus on environmental and social performance, compliance with safeguards, and practical lessons for adaptive management.
E&S Due Diligence
​We provide E&S due diligence to inform investment and purchasing decisions. This includes contextual and legal risk analysis, due diligence of carbon and nature-based solution projects, and supply chain E&S assessments for project developers, funds, and buyers.
